Well, Mark Elf, the anti-Zionist of Jews Sans Frontieres, has taken to erasing my comments when I dare to take him on at any length. Of course, he has a right to do so; it's his blog, his propaganda. That's not going to stop me from losing all respect for him in the process, though; one who erases views one disagrees with does not have the courage of his convictions. If it were me, I'd love having people with contrary views post comments. Perhaps I will take his advice and simply post more on my own blog, which he hopefully won't try to erase. Yes, here is the pro-Zionist intellectual we've all been looking for!
There are several intellectuals with better credentials that know the Zionist ideals are neither racist nor morally bankrupt.
At least not more racist or morally bankrupt than any other national movement.
But the Jews do have a history of the 'other' attempting to wipe out the Jews for centuries.
... and Mark Elf is one of them? You truly are humorous. So who is a good Zionist to listen to? Alan Dershowitz, who plagarized The Case for Israel from a book that only Zionists read anyway? Who knows? I think anti-Zionists have a monopoly on intellegensia, but who knows, with Campus Watch and all these other watchful organizations which you apparently follow.
But honestly, is it not morally bankrupt to attack an anti-Zionist for being anti-Zionist (without any supporting evidence but a measly quote from some blog which, in turn, provides no evidence -- not that there is any!)? Israel is occupying Israel and the additional disputed territories is won in a defensive war. There was no palestinian government or entity capable of ruling the arabs in those disputed territories in 1967. Except Jorda, who refused to take them back.
