Umkahlil lies
Palestinian Islamo-Fascist Terrorists Hide Behind Civilians

Some 45 dead terrorists in the IDF's anti-Kassam military operation of the past 5 days. Three civilians were killed; Olmert says terrorists continue to use "human shields." More Kassams at Sderot.

The IDF's Operation Autumn Clouds entered its fifth day today (Sunday), having killed 45 terrorists in Gaza and uncovering much ammunition and explosives. Both Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Defense Minister Amir Peretz said that the objective of the current IDF offensive is to "reduce" - not uproot - "the Kassam rocket shootings from Gaza into Israel."

Public Security Minister Avi Dichter called for an even stronger military invasion of Gaza, saying only such activity could prevent increased terror activity from Gaza. Olmert said in response, "You generals, you always propose stronger measures after you leave your position; why didn't you make such proposals when you were in the Shabak?"

Peretz said that the offensive is going according to plan, and that the IDF is allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza.

In addition to the dead terrorists, a 12-year-old Arab girl was also killed - and Prime Minister Olmert blamed her death on the terrorists' desire to use civilians as cover and protection for their activities.

"The casualties among the Palestinians are chiefly armed men," Olmert told the Cabinet today. "Unfortunately, even under these circumstances, [the terrorists] use innocent people as human shields, and as a result, there are cases in which civilians who are not involved are hurt. The instructions given to the IDF forces are to make supreme efforts and to act cautiously and with sensitivity to prevent unnecessary deaths..."

The IDF attacked several terrorist cells over the weekend, including one that was in the midst firing Kassam rockets at Israel; at least four terrorists were killed in that attack. Arutz-7's Haggai Huberman says it can be disclosed that the rockets hit Kibbutz Saad, south of Sderot, since the launcher and the launching cell were destroyed immediately afterwards.

The forces also found many caches of ammunition, including rockets, explosives and other combat means.

There is no question that AIPAC and the pro-Israel community are highly visible and can muster impressive displays of support, most notably on Capitol Hill. And it's no secret that their activists are sophisticated political players who have been instrumental in election defeats for politicians who had been hostile to Israel. Proving we have a "stranglehold" on American foreign policy.

The Times has learnt that a Palestinian declaration containing an unconditional commitment to end suicide attacks on civilians was finalised hours before the attack. It was to have been made public yesterday but has now been postponed indefinitely.
"Western diplomats were hours away from gaining an unprecedented Palestinain commitment to end suicide bombings just hours before the Israeli rocket attack on a housing block in Gaza." chatsubo writes, "Citing unnamed diplomats, the London Times reports that international mediators were close to getting a document signed by senior leaders of the Fatah movement. It is also reported that members of Fatah were having top-level meetings with Hamas in order to also gain their backing for the plan. The motivation for the plan is the dual realisation that suicide bombing were harming the Palestinians international image and the danger of creating a 'death cult' amongst the Palestinain youths. In light of these revelations, the same diplomatic sources are suspicious of the timing of the Israeli raid, with some claiming it was a deliberate ploy to block any chance of a cease fire agreement."

Tuesday evening's NBC News reported that the rocket used was American-made and its use in a non-defense capacity was in violation of the standard U.S. weapons sales agreement.

If only these supporters of Islamo-fascism could come up with something with a ring of truth, rather than tired old propaganda pieces that the rest of the world ignores.

Av I know your being sarcastic when you pretend that these cut and pasters might actually have an original thought on their own.

What a wonderful way to spend your weekend. Pasting the same article over and over on a blog that barely has any visitors. Well simple things amuse simple minds I guess. And besides when you don’t work I guess the weekend isn’t much different from the rest of the week.

They even started posting the same thing over and over on my site that I just created the other day like anyone is going to see or care they are doing it. I know I don’t.

They actually have no point so there is no point in allowing their repetitive cut and pastes.

But the latest Palestinian peace offer is interesting. Let's see what happens.

I have hope for peace. But I fear as usual the years of breeding hate and death into the children of the territories will win out as it always does. When you have leaders who preach things like this:
Hassan Nasrallah: How can death become joyous? How can death become happiness? When Al-Hussein asked his nephew Al-Qassem, when he had not yet reached puberty: "How do you like the taste of death, son?" He answered that it was sweeter than honey. How can the foul taste of death become sweeter than honey? Only through conviction, ideology, and faith, through belief, and devotion. We do not want to live merely in order to eat, drink, and enjoy life's pleasures, and leave our homeland to Israel so it will slaughter it upon the altar of its aspirations, desires, hate, and historic vendettas. Therefore, we are not interested in our own personal security. On the contrary, each of us lives his days and nights hoping more than anything to be killed for the sake of Allah. The most honorable death is to be killed, as the Leader Imam Al-Khamenei said when 'Abbas [Musawi] was martyred. He said: "Congratulations to 'Abbas, congratulations to 'Abbas." The most honorable death is death by killing, and the most honorable killing and the most glorious martyrdom is when a man is killed for the sake of Allah, by the enemies of Allah, the murderers of the prophets [i.e. the Jews].

Given the above and the friends you and I have made talking about these topics with people like Rowan, Karin etc. Its hard to have much hope that things will end any differently than what we have seen in the past. Hopefully one day these crazies will wake from their slumber and realize there is a better way than death.
