Dear Editor:
Derogatory comments of Muslims (and Africans) by Europeans or the West in general are not a new occurrence.
An open and honest review of Western history (to include the Crusades), with regard to non-Western people, reveals
an air of arrogance, condescension, deceit and denial which continues today.
One has to wonder what would happen if, these same cartoonists had treated Jews or Christians in the same manner?
